Slow Cooker Cabbage Rolls


  1. 12 leaf cabbage
  2. 1 cup white rice, cooked
  3. 1 egg, beaten
  4. 14 cup milk
  5. 14 cup onion, minced
  6. 1 lb extra-lean ground beef
  7. 1 14 tsp salt
  8. 34 tsp ground black pepper
  9. 18 tsp garlic powder
  10. 2 can (8 oz each) tomato sauce
  11. 2 tbsp brown sugar
  12. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  13. 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce


  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil cabbage leaves for 2 minutes, then drain.
  2. In large bowl, thoroughly combine cooked rice, egg, milk, onion, ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Place about 1/4 cup of meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking in ends. Place rolls seam side down in a slow cooker.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 9 hours.
