spaghetti in a slow cooker

spaghetti in a slow cooker

-2 (24-oz.) jars of your favorite sauce. The Magical Slow Cooker suggests Ragu brand
– 1.5 lbs. ground beef
– ½ cup diced white onion
-1 minced garlic clove
– ¼ tsp. salt1 tsp.dried oregano
-1 tsp. dried basil
-1 lb. spaghetti noodles (you don’t have to cook these until the sauce is done cooking but you always could ahead of time to save a step at the end of the day)
– 4 ounces cream cheese
– 1 cup ricotta
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1. Pour your sauce into the slow cooker, add your cooked and seasoned ground beef, and let it simmer for six hours.
2. After six hours, all that sauce is going to tenderize the meat so much it will melt in your mouth. At this point, you’re going to add your cooked pasta right on top of it.
3. Take your cream cheese and mix it with the ricotta, then spread it all over the top of your pasta. Next, add the mozzarella cheese.
4. Close the lid and let the cheese do it’s work for about 20 minutes. The creamy cheeses will seep into the pasta and sauce creating a delicious pasta casserole.
