garlic ranch potatoes in a slow cooker

3 pounds red potatoes, quartered
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 packet ranch seasoning
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
salt and pepper

1. Coat your slow cooker dish with non-stick spray
2. Toss your potatoes, butter, olive oil, ranch seasoning (or taco seasoning), chives and salt and pepper into the slow cooker.
3. Turn your slow cooker on high and let the potatoes cook for about 3 to 4 hours, depending on the size of your potatoes.
4. Check potatoes after the first hour to ensure all are coated well .
Here’s a tip: If you don’t have access to packets of ranch seasoning, you can make your own using garlic salt, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder.
