How to make slow cooker pork tenderloin

Ingredients
1 (2-pound) pork tenderloin
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
3/4 cup red wine
3 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
If you’re in a pinch and you don’t have a packet of onion soup lying around, there’s an easy solution that you can whip up at home with household herbs:
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
2 tablespoons low-sodium beef bouillon granules
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon celery seed
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Direction
1. Place your tenderloin in the slow cooker with your soup packet, or homemade dried soup recipe
2. Pour wine, water, and soy sauce right on top, coating the pork
3. Spread garlic over the top of the pork, and be sure to keep it on the surface so that it can roast as much as possible. Also, add pepper to taste
4. Cook on low for 4 hours
5. Serve with that delicious sauce on the side for the perfect au jus.
