Break pasta into your slow cooker. With this on top? You’ll be scraping the pot for more

People avoid cooking lasagna due to the time investment required. But if you use a slow cooker, you can cut down dramatically on time and you can easily come up with a fantastic dish that tastes great! These few easy steps are all you need to do to make incredible lasagna!

First add 16-ounces of ricotta cheese to a medium bowl. Then you make a small crevice in the center of the cheese. Now add 1 large beaten egg. Then 3 tablespoons of half and half. Mix it up well and add in a quarter teaspoon of salt, as this will assist with extra flavor. Now just stir it up.

Now add your layer of meat sauce to the bottom of the slow cooker.

Put your layer of noodles on top of the sauce and if you need to make them smaller, feel free to break them up. Oh, and no need to cook the noodles first, just put them in there as is.

Next goes your layer of ricotta cheese mix to the top of the sauce. Then another thick layer of meat sauce. Add some shredded Parmesan and shredded Mozzarella cheese.

Now add another layer of noodles and this time go in the opposite direction. Add in more or the ricotta mixture as well as another layer of sauce.

Top it off with some more Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Keep on layering you lasagna until all of the ingredients are in the slow cooker. Now cover it up!

For cooking, you want to put it on high for about 3 hours. Or else you can set it on low for 7 hours on low.

You can add roasted veggies with your lasagna or even an antipasto plate.
