- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp cold water
Instructions:
- In your slow cooker, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, allspice, and nutmeg until the mixture is smooth.
- Gently fold in the frozen meatballs, ensuring each one is submerged in the liquid. Cover with a tight-fitting lid.
- Cook on High for 3 hours or Low for 6 hours until meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbling softly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and cold water until no lumps remain. Stir this slurry into the slow cooker.
- Cook on High for an additional 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Turn the heat to low or off and stir in the sour cream until the gravy is a pale, creamy mahogany.
