Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef
  • 1 medium (110g) yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
  • 24 oz (680g) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp (5g) dried oregano
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (225g) cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup (120g) sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb (450g) spaghetti noodles
  • 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 2 minutes less than the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the marinara sauce and oregano. Let it simmer on low for 10 minutes until rich and concentrated.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

  6. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
