Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 0.5 lb ground pork
- 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 0.25 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix gently by hand until just combined, then roll into 1.5-inch spheres.
- Place the meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer or slightly overlapping.
- Whisk the balsamic vinegar into the marinara sauce in a small bowl, then pour the mixture evenly over the meatballs until fully submerged.
- Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 7-8 hours without opening the lid.
- Carefully stir the meatballs to coat them in the sauce and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
