Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.5 lb ground pork
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix gently by hand until just combined, then roll into 1.5-inch spheres.
  2. Place the meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer or slightly overlapping.
  3. Whisk the balsamic vinegar into the marinara sauce in a small bowl, then pour the mixture evenly over the meatballs until fully submerged.
  4. Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 7-8 hours without opening the lid.
  5. Carefully stir the meatballs to coat them in the sauce and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
