Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (180g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 4 cups (950ml) whole milk
  • 1 tsp (5g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 2 cups (250g) fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Grease the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with coconut oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Add the rolled oats, milk, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract to the slow cooker. Whisk until the cinnamon is evenly distributed and no clumps of oats remain.
  3. Stir in the mashed banana, diced strawberries, and maple syrup.
  4. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and set the slow cooker to Low for 7 hours.
  5. Once cooking is complete, give the oatmeal a gentle stir. Stir in an extra splash of milk if a thinner consistency is desired.
