About Me:

Meet Rachel Hayes

I'm Rachel, and my love affair with the slow cooker began out of sheer necessity. Between soccer practice, homework help, and a full-time job, I realized I had two choices: the drive-thru or the crockpot. I chose the crockpot, but I refused to settle for bland, watery mush. I've spent the last decade perfecting the art of the "dump-and-go" dinner—meals that taste like you spent hours at the stove but actually took 15 minutes to prep.

My Culinary Philosophy

My Background

I grew up in the Midwest, where casseroles are practically a food group. I've taken those classic comfort food memories and adapted them for the modern slow cooker. My "Cheesy Chicken and Rice" recipe has been tested over 50 times to get the rice texture just right—fluffy, never gummy. I'm obsessed with solving the common slow cooker problems so you don't have to.
